This website has been a great resource for Humboldt parents and expecting parents but I (Kit) have always kept my thoughts to myself, well I hope you are ready for discussion, side notes, and stories of birth and motherhood.

So today I start to BOLG… I have just finished reading about how to support women in waterbirth while having the tailbone free to flex.  Imagine hammick in the water…

I am also currently morning the coolness of having a baby clothing store with in walking distance of my house, not that I could really afford to buy much there but it was nice to go look and see the support for new parents and the birth community.

When: August 7th
Time: 12:30-1:00 p.m.

The purpose of this walk is to bring awareness to the importance of breastfeeding as a first step and key health strategy for preventing diseases including childhood overweight, and to encourage and support breastfeeding women in our community.
This short ¼ mile walk will take place on the beautiful trails of Potawot Health Village.
All participants will receive gifts including a tote bag, baby T-shirts, recipe books, and breastfeeding information.
Water and healthy snacks will be provided!!!
